While I was waiting for my vehicle at Santa Ana car care and body shop next door, I stopped in to grab a quick bite of chicken. Good thing I did not go based on the reviews or i would not have stopped by. I ordered a #3. Within 2 minutes, my food came out. It was all hot and very fresh, including the biscuit. Staff was friendly and attentive and I was acknowledged as I walked up to the counter. I'm not sure why this place has bad reviews but based on my visit, they dont deserve them! Stop by and get you some tasty chicken!

Bought a #1 combo spicy with an extra biscuit and was pretty mad to get back to work and see that 1. The food wasn't fresh and 2. My chicken wasn't spicy! I called and spoke to the manager and her response was "well being the food back" excuse me?! I'm not holding on to this food until 8:30 PM that's stupid and gross, why do you can put the food back on the tray later tonight? That's disgusting! Won't ever come to this place again! The employees are lazy and rude!

Horrible lazy service for this to be a new location. Went there at 1:30, to try the new smoke chicken. Bought the $28 pack to go, it was extremely dry inside and out. I mentioned the time because I was also told the rice hadn't been made for the day.

June 26 around 6:30 p.m. ordered the new Smoked Chicken meal which was supposed to a half chicken w/mashed potatoes. What a shock when I opened the boxes upon arriving home! It was a fourth chicken that was so dried up it looked like a dead cat! Pulled it apart to see if any of it was edible, but it was not. The meat was hard as rocks. So we ate the potatoes and extra okra and by 9 p.m. we were throwing up so had food poisoning. Waste of our time, energy, money and then to throw up all night was just the last straw. The employees at this Church's on Jones Road in Houston are sharp with customers and don't care what they serve...stay away!

I ordered my food around 845 long before closing.
The chicken was cold and gross.
The rice had a weird smell.
I tried to call for two days and no one has answered the phone.
